Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ lb Ox Tongue
  • 1 cup Button Mushroom
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • 1 Onion
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Low Carb Mayonnaise
  • 2 cup Water
  • Salt and Pepper

Cooking Instructions

Tenderize the ox tongue by boiling water in a pot. Add ox tongue and boil for 2 hours. Remove tongue from the pot. Let it cool down. Peel the skin off and then slice the ox tongue into thin pieces. Set aside
Melt butter in a pan. Sauté onion
Add sliced ox tongue. Sauté for 5 minutes
Pour water. Let boil
Boil until liquid reduces in half
Add button mushroom. Cook for 10 minutes
Pour heavy whipping cream. Add garlic powder. Stir and cook in low to medium heat for 5 minutes
Add Mayonnaise. Stir until sauce until creamy
Season with ground black pepper and salt. Cook until sauce thickens
