Ingredients:

  • 500 g Pork Belly
  • 4 Tomato
  • 2 Onion
  • 1 Daikon Radish
  • 3.5 Okra
  • 14 oz Spinach
  • 3 Green Chili Peppers
  • 1 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind Paste
  • 2-3 cup Water
  • Salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. Properly wash pork with cold running water. Pat dry. Season with salt
  2. Boil the pork in deep large pan, make sure everything is submerged in the water
  3. Boil for 10 minutes, add in onion and tomatoes
  4. Boil for another 10 minutes, slowly add Okra, radish, fish sauce, and add tamarind soup paste
  5. Continue to boil for 5 to 7 minutes or until vegetables start to soften
  6. Turn off heat and add spinach or Kangkong. Cover. Once the spinach or kangkong is cooked you are ready to serve your sinigang
